General

Yes. Ready Artwork provides 2 main types of online marketing: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Marketing (SMM).
SEO – Search Engine Optimization. The process of making a website more visible to search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing etc. When a website is properly optimized, the usual outcome is higher page ranking and better positioning for search results.
SMM – Social Media Marketing. The process of using social media outlets to increase a brand’s value and awareness. The main goal is to attract and interact with a company’s target audience. Successful SMM can generate a loyal following and returning customers for years to come.

Once we receive final payment of your website project, you own the website. The website host will be on a 3rd party server that will be registered to you. We keep customers through excellent service, not contracts.

All websites come with a CMS (content management system) that allows you to edit content and upload new images and banners. After building your website, we will provide training on how to use the system, all contracts quoted include basic training.
There is no set monthly maintenance fee; all our support and maintenance are charged by the actual hours. Please feel free to contact us for additional information.

Many design firms include SEO in their website packages but in reality, SEO should not be conducted only once. The goal of SEO is the get to the top spot on a search result. Page 1 only has 10 spots, it is highly unlikely that a company is able to SEO your website once and get you to the number 1 spot. If this does occur, what happens once your competitors do the same thing? SEO is a long term commitment to consistently stay at the top and drive customers to your website.
Ready Artwork does provide monthly SEO service contracts to help consult and improve your website traffic and ranking over time. Please contact us today for a free price quote!

Ready Artwork does! We have a comprehensive in-house team; we project manage, design and build your projects from our studio in San Gabriel, CA. We believe in our local talent and retain our core services here in the US.

No, we do not offer templates because they are still-designed and programed by a person (usually overseas) that cannot be contacted to provide additional support. Your template website then becomes a gamble to see whether or not you chose a well-built template. If you have already purchased a template, you saved a few hundred dollars up front. In the event that the template becomes problematic, you will need to find a local developer that may or may not be able to help, often times by rebuilding the site all over again.

Possibly. If you are using one of the 2 platforms we specialize in (WordPress and Magento) then the chances that we may be of assistance to you are much higher. We have been able to help clients in the past who had well-built sites and were in need of only minor edits. If the website was built poorly or was a stock install of a template, we would recommend a new, proper build that can be maintained to keep up with your growing business.

A proposal with website build timelines are provided once we fully understand the scope of work and functions you will need in your website. Below is a rough guideline of what to expect:
2-3 weeks to create a custom design for website artwork and concept.
3 days to 2 weeks on average for revisions and approval. (This is where you, the client has control of how fast you respond to our team)
4-8 weeks for site development depending on the scope of work. It could be more if the site is very extensive.
30 days debugging period once the site is live.

Each website is unique and tailored to the audience you would like to reach. There are two types of websites: informational, lead generating websites and product driven e-catalog or e-commerce online sales websites. Many people get Domain and Hosting mixed up because the two can usually be bought together. Domain is often referred to as URL or ownership of a name of your web address. Hosting refers to a server, a place or platform where your information and interaction with end users are captured. An analogy to better understand these concepts would be that the domain is like your home address, server hosting is the piece of land you buy where you will build your website or“house.”

The main difference is that an e-commerce website includes a shopping cart function so that users can purchase online. Alternatively, an e-catalog website, is a listing of the products, with or without pricing, that serves to provide information only and no buying function.

Responsive design is a new web technology where Ready Artwork designs the website in 3 different sizes to suit any desktop, tablet, or mobile devide; code is added so that the site “responds” to different browser sizes automatically. This removes the need for a separate mobile site and enhances the user experience. All our standard websites are “mobile friendly,” meaning that we only use technologies that are viewable on mobile platforms. For example, we do not use Adobe Flash because it is not readable by mobile browsers.

A plugin is a software component that adds a specific feature to an existing software application. Plugins are developed by third-party developers to create extra abilities and functions to your website. An example of a common plugin is one page check out. Those who want this function on their website would need to pay a one time fee to buy the plugin for programmers to integrate onto their website.
