  • Haiku Kitchen

Haiku Kitchen is a local restaurant in Pasadena that serves Japanese dishes with a creative twist – Mexican Fusion Flavors. We are always excited to work with creative and innovative clients!

    The Challenge:

As many small businesses do when they start-up, this client had built their own site but was not happy with the results. It did not reflect the creativity and depth of their brand and food. The website was like a brochure that never got delivered.

    Ready Artwork’s Solution:

Ready Artwork used our creativity to design a website that had an Asian feel, but with a modern American look to reflect the brand in a more genuine style.

Some of the features built into the site were a blogfor quick updates on happenings at the store, Interactive image slider which is Javascript and not Flash (Mobile devices are not fully compatible with Flash), a Google Map direction for easy navigation to the restaurant, search feature for keyword searches on the site and many more to make the site more user-friendly.

The client has since come back and is working with the Ready Artwork team to continue branding their off-line marketing materials such as menu boards and posters.

  • Kerisma Knits

Kerisma Knits is a super fashion forward knitwear designer/manufacture located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles Fashion District. The client was looking for a unique website to match their style as well as allow the products to shine.

    The Challenge:

The client was not satisfied with their previous design company and was looking for someone who could provide a longer term solution, especially with simple edits of the website. One of the criteria was to build a custom site to match the branding and product.

    Ready Artwork’s Solution:

Ready Artwork realized that simple clean design is one of the hardest things to achieve while keeping everyone happy. The designs went back and forth a few times more than usual, and in the end, with close communication and cooperation with the client, we were able to come to a design that everyone was pleased with.

One of the more unique features on this website is the “Store Locator” which was a custom feature to showcase stores that carried the client’s product-line. The physical locations show up on the map while the on-line stores are listed below.

  • My 2nd Love

My2ndLove.com is a make-up brand developed by one of Ready Artwork’s preexisting client that manufactures cosmetics. They wanted to create brand awareness and build an e-commerce website for on-line sales. Since they have been happy client’s since 2005, Ready Artwork was their natural choice when decided to create the new brand.

    The Challenge:

Ready Artwork was asked to create brand awareness for a new name that was unknown in the industry. The website had to be fun, intuitive, and easy to navigate.

    Ready Artwork’s Solution:

Ready Artwork worked closely with the client to develop strategic designs to optimize the presentation of products. We organized products and brought the website to life.

Because the unique cosmetics are “baked”, we decided to go with a more natural and organic design. The muted background colors allowed the make-up colors to shine through and become the star of the website.

We are currently still working with this client to optimize and upgrade their website on a monthly basis. Our marketing team has also been making very significant improvements to the website’s traffic through SEO and SMM.

  • Natural Home Rug

Natural Home Rugs is a well-established rug and custom rug e-commerce business that was looking for a re-design and technology upgrade for their existing website.

    The Challenge:

The website was first built on a Yahoo! Shopping-cart 10 years ago which was sufficient for the time. The client started to seek ways to grow their on-line store, a custom coded shopping cart was integrated onto the existing Yahoo site for “Customized Rug orders”. This was a great idea, but when their customers wanted to order a standard rug and a customized rug together, they couldn’t. Two separate transactions were required because there were 2 carts and 2 merchant accounts. This problem along with other inventory and database issues made running the website very unproductive.

    Ready Artwork’s Solution:

On top of solving the shopping cart, inventory, and database issues, Ready Artwork was able to create a contemporary site with updated features you would expect to find when browsing an upscale website. Naturalhomerugs.com’s custom orders became interactive, the shopping cart is now more intuitive, and overall user experience improved dramatically. Ready Artwork used Magento to build the website.

The Client also had Amazon and EBay stores to manage, so Ready Artwork was able to find a technology that consolidated all the accounts together and integrated them into the Client’s accounting system to manage real-time inventory and invoicing.

Ready Artwork was able to preserve the links from the old website so there was minimal traffic and sales downtime during the site migration from old to new.
